Multi-Location

Moving Offices Without Losing Service

Start earlier than feels necessary

Connectivity is often one of the last items on a moving plan and one of the first problems on moving day. Service at a new address can take time to arrange, so raise it as soon as you have the address.

As soon as you have an address

  • Check what service is available there.

  • Tell your current providers about your plans, and check your contract terms.

  • Ask whether your phone numbers can move with you.

A few weeks before

  • Book installation at the new site, ahead of move-in.

  • Walk the space and plan desks, equipment, and Wi-Fi coverage.

  • Update your list of lines and devices.

  • Decide when the old service should end.

Moving day

  • Keep the old service live until the new one is confirmed.

  • Test internet, phones, and payment systems before staff arrive.

  • Have a mobile backup ready for urgent calls.

After the move

  • Update your address and numbers wherever they appear.

  • Return any equipment that needs to go back.

  • Confirm the old service has ended and billing has stopped.
